The Kings Park Bluff

Kings Park Bluff is a beautiful spot to go for a beach day, a fishing day, or even for the sunset or sunrise. There are benches provided so that town residents can sit and enjoy the view. You can also walk along a strip of the rocky beach where some people fish along the water's edge. Along with the beautiful beach, they have trails that you can follow with markers on the trees, but the most famous is the one that leads you over to a sunken meadow by just crossing over one bridge. The trails are straightforward to follow and very family-friendly. 

Sunken Meadow State Park

The Sunken Meadow State Park is located at Rte. 25A and Sunken Meadow Parkway, Kings Park, NY 11754. Sunken Meadow State Park offers a beach with lifeguards on duty, and they also have a 3-mile-long boardwalk that lines the beach, and allows walkers and bikers to exercise. It also has a 9-hole golf course in the same area. The park gives you access to benches and tables for a picnic, or to celebrate special occasions with your family. Sunken Meadow boardwalk allows you to walk down to a red bridge that has trail markers to take you to the Kings Park Bluff.
