Also, the Oheka Catle located in Huntington, is one of the most recognized prestigious wedding venues in the world and has been the backdrop to many notable movies and TV productions.

History

Huntington, NY is closely associated with the early development of American colonies. The community originally settled in 1653, which was one of the earliest New England colonist. Water-born transportation gave life to the community and natural harbors gave access to the farmlands of Long Island. In later years whaling industry expanded manufacturing activity broadened the local economy.
